It’s a great feeling to help a family member when they ask for help, so  when my dad requested my assistance after announcing his campaign to be the next 5th District Supervisor for Humboldt County, it was hardly a choice at all and I jumped right in. Little did I know at the time but this would be a major time commitment, not just for me but also for the team of volunteers who gave their time to show their support and lend a hand. My dad won that campaign and now sits on the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors.
